Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table with a narrow victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester City were not in Premier League action this weekend as they had the FA Cup semifinal to play at Wembley. Pep Guardiola's side beat Chelsea 1-0 thanks to Bernardo Silva's late winner to reach the final.
Earlier in the day, there were battles at the bottom of the table where Burnley battered Sheffield United 4-1 and Brentford put a dent in Luton Town's hopes of staying up as they were thumped 5-1.
Sunday sees another game which will have huge implications on the relegation battle as Everton face Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool travel to Fulham and Crystal Palace host West Ham.

Champions League spots, European places 2023/24
The big news in 2023/24 is that there's a scenario in which the Premier League could see the top five teams all qualify for the UEFA Champions League if England finishes as one of the top two performing nations in European club cup competitions.
If the FA Cup winner or Carabao Cup winner finish in the top four, the European cup berth that accompanies that title would go to the next team in the Premier League standings not already qualified for Europe.

- Champions League berths (4 or 5): Top 4 or Top 5 places
- Europa League berths (2): 5th or 6th place + FA Cup winner
- Conference League qualifying berth (1): Carabao Cup winner or 7th place
