Jason Koon has already cemented his place as one of the best tournament players in the world. He added to his legend, taking down the 50,000 Turbo No Limit Hold'Em event at the Super High Roller Series in Hoi An for 574,000.

With the win, Koon became the first player in Triton's history to secure five titles on the tour.

Koon jumped out to an early chip lead, steadily building his stack throughout the day. He won a 369,000 pot against Ike Haxton when he defended his big blind with 63 offsuit, flopped trips, and filled up on the turn.

That big hand gave Koon a 150 BB stack that he carefully maneuvered, becoming the first player to one million in chips. He never looked back, using that stack to maneuver past the other players in the tournament.

Stephen Chidwick was the first player eliminated from the final table, in ninth place. Chidwick was nursing a small stack for most of the day, finally waking up with pocket jacks. But Chris Brewer had pocket queens in the big blind, and Chidwick's day was cruelly finished.

Danny Tang was the next player out. Tang doubled up early in the day but couldn't get beyond that 2x starting stack. He got his money in preflop with the ace-jack offsuit and failed to improve against the ace-king offsuit of Mirzikinian Warwick.

In sixth place was Dan Smith, who fired two bullets into the event. Smith built some momentum in the middle stages of the tournament, but he entered the final table with his original starting stack and jammed the small blind with pocket fives. He was called by Chris Brewer in the big blind with king-jack offsuit, and Smith's pair was counterfeited on a double-paired board.

Warwick was the tournament's bubble boy. He jammed his ace-king offsuit and was called by Brewer, who was dominated with ace-eight offsuit. Both players flopped an ace, and an eight on the turn gave Warwick the bad beat elimination.

Isaac Haxton was the first player in the money, in fifth place. Haxton raised his pocket eights under the gun and called off a 15 BB jam by Artur Martirosian in the big blind. Martirosian had queen-nine suited, turning a queen to send Haxton home.

The eliminations came in a flurry after Haxton. Punnat Punsri and Chris Brewer finished in fourth and third. A short heads-up battle with Martirosian resulted in Koon taking down the win.
