Chargers defensive end Morgan Fox is on a depth chart with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack, but this is his week to shine.

The Westminster Dog Show concluded Wednesday in Tarrytown, New York, with Fox and his French bulldog Winston turning some lofty ambitions into a reality.

After taking top honors among the French bulldog breed, Winston — officially listed as GCHP CH Fox Canyon's I Won The War At Goldshield CGCA CGCU TKN — advanced to win the non-sporting group and put him in the running for Best in Show.

Squaring off head to head against other group winners, Winston came in as the runner-up, or Best in Show Reserve, behind Trumpet the Bloodhound.

Fox was, suffice it to say, excited about Winston's victory in the group.

Congrats proud papa! #WestminsterDogShow

If this is how my parents felt watching my games all these years I apologize 😂

And again when Winston came in Best in Show Reserve.

With the Westminster Dog Show being the most prestigious dog show in the country, if not the world, Fox has a lot to be excited about.

Despite not taking the Best in Show title home, it looks like Winston has won over the hearts of many.

It would appear the Chargers might also have a new unofficial mascot.
