The Texans are loading up on offense.

Houston's productive offseason continued Wednesday, acquiring star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a 2025 fifth-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round from the Bills for a 2025 second-round pick (via Minnesota).

Diggs is the latest addition to reigning AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud's arsenal, joining free-agent running back Joe Mixon in a group with breakout stars like Nico Collins and Tank Dell.

As the Texans prepare to build on their success from last season, take a look at a breakdown of their updated depth chart following the Diggs trade.

Texans WR depth chart after Stefon Diggs trade

1. Stefon Diggs

Stroud has a new WR1.

Diggs may have regressed in 2023, but 107 receptions for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns is a stellar season to most wide receiver's standards. The 30-year-old has proved to be one of the best downfield threats in football, tallying over 100 receptions in five of his last six seasons and over 1,000 yards in six consecutive seasons.

Diggs will thrive on the outside with weapons like Collins, Dell and Dalton Schultz to take attention away from opposing defenses. Once he and Stroud start to build a rapport on the deep ball, they could be one of the best QB-WR duos in the NFL.

2. Nico Collins

Collins was the biggest beneficiary of Stroud's emergence last season. The third-year wide receiver exploded for his first-career 1,000-yard season, tallying 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns.

Collins served as WR1 for the majority of the year after Dell suffered a season-ending injury in Week 13. Even though he'll take a step back in the depth chart, the 25-year-old Collins should benefit from having more dangerous weapons around him.

3. Tank Dell

Dell and Stroud wasted no time getting familiar with each other during their rookie years.

Prior to Dell's season-ending leg injury, the University of Houston product produced four games with double-digit receptions and three games with over 100 yards receiving. He also hauled in a touchdown in five of his 10 games played.

Dell is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the 2024 season.

4. Noah Brown

Brown had a few bright spots once he stepped into a bigger role following Dell's injury. He had back-to-back games with over 150 receiving yards, resulting in a career-best 567 yards on the season.

5. Robert Woods

Woods served as a safety blanket for Stroud last season, tallying 40 receptions for 426 yards. The soon-to-be 32-year-old veteran receiver will likely take a step back on the depth chart, but he'll be ready to step in any time his number is called.
