The New England Patriots made the easy choice on Thursday, taking North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Maye will eventually take over as New England's new franchise quarterback. It's just a question of whether or not he'll be ready for the start of the year. If he's not Jacoby Brissett will be the starter until May can take over.
