NFL teams do a tremendous job of keeping information close to the vest leading up to the draft, with little information on teams' exact plans available before the selections begin. Keeping the schedule in-house isn't so easy, apparently.

The NFL has turned the schedule release into a spectacle in recent years, and it's not hard to see why. Fans are hungry for football, and the reveal allows them to start planning their lives around it in the fall.

However, by the time the full schedule is released on Wednesday, May 15, many of the dates and times are already known. A majority of the prime-time schedule was available when the slate was officially revealed in 2023, turning schedule release day into a marathon rather than a well-timed announcement.

The 2024 schedule figures to bring some exciting rookie quarterback matchups, another heavy dose of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in prime time, and likely more prime-time slots for the Texans and Lions after their breakthrough seasons.

The Sporting News is tracking all credible 2024 NFL schedule leaks leading up to the announcement. Follow along below.
