The Sphere concert schedule 2024

Organizers for The Sphere have been tight-lipped about the concert schedule and artists, in part due to the complexity of each individual show. In an interview with Variety, organizers said there would be three to four residences per year.

Beyond music, playing right now is Postcard from Earth, a two-part immersive experience from award-winning documentary filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. About two hours long in total, it begins as soon as you enter the Atrium with a 40-minute interactive experience featuring five humanoid robots, beam-forming sound displays and a 50-foot high hologram. After the first part, seating begins in the main venue for the 50-minute Postcard from Earth. The Sphere Experience runs in parallel with other ongoing concerts with as many as four shows on a single day.

Las Vegas Sphere cost to build

Since opening in fall of 2023, The Sphere has radically transformed one of the world's most iconic destinations.

With a cool sticker price of $2.3 billion to build, the Sphere seats 17,600 with about 10,000 of those seats providing a completely immersive experience. The outside of the building features 1.2 million LED bulbs each about the size of a hockey puck while the speaker system boasts 1,586 loudspeaker modules, 167,000 speaker drivers and over 300 loudspeaker modules. This isn't your grandfather's concert venue.

The glamor shots from Super Bowl weekend — always a destination for reasons extending beyond the actual football — prominently featured The Sphere in all its glory with 49ers and Chiefs fans descending from every corner of the globe.

In its first full quarter of operation to end 2023, The Sphere — owned by MSG and Knicks executive chairman James Dolan — reported a revenue of $167.8 million across 191 performances, including concerts and tours of the one-of-a-kind building.

Regardless of your reason for visiting Sin City, you can add a trip to The Sphere to your bucket list.
