The Bills have a chance to do something unthinkable on Sunday: Virtually end the Patriots' season in October.

It may be unwise to count out a Bill Belichick-coached team, but the Patriots haven't looked even the part of "pesky" as the midway point of the season nears. Instead, the offense has been anemic, with Mac Jones at the center of the debate.

Jones' 2022 regression has followed him into 2023, with a new voice on the coaching staff not providing any kind of relief for the third-year passer. Bill O'Brien hasn't gotten much out of Jones, and the rest of the division has been able to keep him this year.

The Bills still pace the division, though it's been something of a wishy-washy season for Buffalo. There's been dominating victories (vs. the Commanders and Dolphins), some confusing losses (vs. the Jets and Jaguars) and a gross win over the Giants in Week 6.

A wise man once said: "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills." We'll see if that holds true this Sunday afternoon. Here's how to watch the AFC East matchup.

Sunday's Bills-Patriots AFC East matchup takes place in Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. It's the first of two matchups between the divisional rivals in 2023.
