After a 13-4 season that ended in the AFC Championship game, the Baltimore Ravens will be approaching the 2024 NFL Draft with an eye on plugging the few holes they have.
The Ravens enter the draft with nine total selections. And though their own picks come in toward the end of each round, they do have two extra picks in the fourth and seventh rounds.

Offensive line remains a big priority, especially after losing key free agents like LG John Simpson and G Kevin Zeitler while trading OT Morgan Moses.
Beyond that, however, the Ravens could use depth at positions like cornerback and wide receiver. The latter position, in particular, is likely to pique fans’ interests, as Baltimore is still lacking at that position beyond Zay Flowers.

Ravens NFL Draft needs
- Offensive line: The Ravens have prided themselves on strong offensive line play, and they expect to continue to be solid upfront in 2024. John Harbaugh said in March at the annual league meeting that he expects to be better upfront next season, despite their offseason losses. Luckily, many experts consider this draft to be loaded with offensive linemen.
- Wide receiver: The Ravens’ receiver room is still lacking heading into 2024. Beyond Zay Flowers, it’s unclear if there is another receiver who can step up and become a top target for Lamar Jackson. Rashod Bateman is still around, but hasn’t progressed the way some fans would hope and may be on the trade block. The team re-signed Nelson Agholor, but they have not yet brought back Odell Beckham Jr. NFL Network’s Lance Zerlein pegs wide receiver as the second strongest position group in the draft and says some future starters should be available on Day 2.
- Cornerback: Eric DeCosta has said he would like to target a cornerback at some point in the draft, but didn’t say which round. And white the Ravens have two good options in Marlon Humphrey and Brandon Stephens, but beyond them, their depth is a little shaky. As DeCosta said, it’s good to have depth because of injuries, especially at such a vital position.
