What many expected to be a quiet edition of "Thursday Night Football" turned chaotic when Baker Mayfield led a wild comeback win over the Raiders just 48 hours after the Rams claimed him off waivers.

Mayfield, who didn't even start the game, led two touchdown drives in the fourth quarter including 98-yard drive in under two minutes that ended with a go-ahead touchdown pass to Van Jefferson.

The former No. 1 pick made some massive throws despite the unusual circumstances, and the rest of the NFL took note.

Cooper Kupp probably won't get a chance to play with Mayfield this season, but the win didn't go unnoticed by the reigning Super Bowl MVP.

Patrick Mahomes might've been thinking more about his division rivals than the Rams when he watched the end of this game.

Lincoln Riley, who coached Mayfield during his Heisman Trophy season at Oklahoma, welcomed his former quarterback to Los Angeles.

We've seen flashes of greatness from Mayfield over the years, but they've never lasted very long. Can the Rams unlock something the Panthers didn't believe was there?

EIther way, Mayfield is the king of Los Angeles for at least one night. The rest of the league is on notice, and teams will surely remember this moment when the former No. 1 pick hits free agency in the spring.
