The 2024 NFL regular season is almost here and the Chiefs will once again kick things off as defending Super Bowl championship.

Kansas City hosts the Ravens on Sept. 5 for some Thursday night football action. It's a rematch of the AFC championship game from this past January and will certainly get the 2024 season going with some fireworks.

But the Chiefs play 16 other games in 2024. While the full schedule won't officially be released until May 15, there have been rumblings about who and when KC will play this year.

We already know the full list of opponents, but here are some recently rumored leaks for the Chiefs' 2024 schedule.

Kansas City Chiefs 2024 schedule leaks tracker: The latest news, rumors

Week 1: Chiefs vs. Ravens

What a way to kick off the 2024 NFL season. The Chiefs host the Ravens in Week 1 on Sept. 5. The game will be aired on NBC at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The last time these two teams faced off, Patrick Mahomes and company got the better of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a 17-10 defensive battle. Mahomes completed 30 of 39 passes for 241 yards and one touchdown, while Travis Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a score. The win was Mahomes' fourth against Jackson and sent KC to its second consecutive Super Bowl and third in Mahomes' career.

Week 2: Chiefs vs. Bengals

Another AFC championship rematch, albeit a few years past. This is a matchup that always brings some heat, though.

The Chiefs host again, this time against the Bengals. The game will be played on Sept. 15 at 4:25 p.m. on CBS.

Week 7 vs. 49ers

A Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and 49ers will happen this season, and it could be as early as Week 7. Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz reported Tuesday that the Chiefs will take on the 49ers in San Francisco on Oct. 20 at 4:25 pm on FOX in a game that also features Tom Brady in the broadcast booth.

Week 11 vs. Bills

The Chiefs get their annual rematch with the Bills, this time in Buffalo in Week 11 at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS, per Schultz. The Bills beat the Chiefs in the regular season in 2023 before Mahomes and company took down Buffalo in the AFC divisional round.

Week 13 vs. Raiders on Black Friday

A recent report indicates the Chiefs will host the Raiders on Black Friday in Week 13 in an AFC West clash

Week 17 Christmas Day vs. Steelers at 1 p.m. ET on Netflix

The Chiefs will travel to Pittsburgh to player the Steelers on Christmas Day, the NFL confirmed. This would be big for the schedule for two reasons: Christmas lands on Wednesday — typically an off-day for the NFL — and it will be one of two games that day.

The Chiefs have a bitter taste of Christmas after KC lost to the Raiders on Dec. 25, 2023.
