Oklahoma vs. Kansas: Five takeaways
Five-touchdown underdog at home? That's nothing new for Kansas.
For Oklahoma, a road dud against a bad team in 2015 isn't completely new territory. But the Sooners took care of business in a 62-7 win over the Jayhawks. It sets up a can't-miss November in the Big 12.

Here are five takeaways from Oklahoma's win.
Sorry, Samaje
Last year against Kansas, Samaje Perine ran for 427 yards on 34 carries, an NCAA single-game record for rushing yards, in a 44-7 win over Kansas. This year wasn't quite the same.
Perine ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while Joe Mixon and Alex Ross paced the Sooners behind him in the second half.
That's a lot of yards
When you gain a whole bunch of yards, you usually score. When you score and your opponent doesn't, you have to call off the dogs at some point.
Oklahoma had 466 yards of total offense in the first half and scored 38 points. In the second half, the Sooners racked up only 244 yards and 24 points.
Oklahoma didn't sleep on this one
If Oklahoma hadn't rolled out of bed straight into the Cotton Bowl and laid an egg against Texas last month, we'd be gearing up for one of the best conference finishes in recent memory. We still are to a certain extent, but that loss knocked Oklahoma back a ways.
It's Kansas, yes, but the Sooners have turned in some clunkers under Bob Stoops before. They showed up Saturday and took care of business.
Oklahoma travels to Baylor and Oklahoma State and hosts TCU in the final three weeks of the season. TCU hosts Baylor on the final Saturday of the regular season.
Trevor Knight is still on the roster
Remember him? The guy who dominated Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and got asked out on national TV by Katy Perry? Well, he's still on the team.
Knight entered in the second half after Baker Mayfield did his job — the Texas Tech transfer went 27 of 32 passing for 383 yards and four touchdowns.
Knight had thrown just 13 passes over two games this season, blowouts of Akron and Kansas State. He finished Saturday's game 6 of 9 for 62 yards.
He's still only a junior.
Kansas will not win a game
We've been here before. We're here again. Nothing Kansas has done over the last month gives us any indication that it will win a game this season.
The Jayhawks blew their best chance at a win in Week 1 against South Dakota State, and close the season at Texas and TCU and vs. West Virginia and Kansas State at home.
