SN Power Rankings: Clemson moves forward after demolishing Miami

Clemson dealt Miami its worst loss in program history last week, 58-0.

There are two simple things to take away from that result: the Hurricanes are an embarrassing mess of a football team and the Tigers are one of the nation's best, period.

Clemson inched up to No. 3 in this week's SN Power Poll, replacing Utah in the top four and sliding past LSU.

"We try to keep a windshield mentality — it’s not about what’s behind us," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said after that win. "You can always learn from what you’ve been through, but it’s really about what’s directly in front of us."
