No. 16 Providence held on in overtime to upset No. 4 Villanova, 82-76, on Sunday in Philadelphia. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but snowstorm Jonas forced a postponement.

Providence center Ben Bentil led the way with a game-high 31 points and 13 rebounds. Friars All-American candidate Kris Dunn added 13 points and 14 assists. The duo have quickly become one of the most potent high-low combinations in college basketball.

Senior guard Ryan Arcidiacono led Villanova with 19 points, and came up especially big in crunch time, hitting a game-tying 3-pointer with 9 seconds left to tie it at 66-66 and force overtime. Josh Hart added 18 points, but it wasn't enough to hold off a hungry Providence team.

Villanova (17-3, 7-1) remains on top in the Big East, but the Wildcats have another matchup at Providence (17-3, 5-2) on Feb. 6.
