For the first time this decade, Duke and North Carolina are set to clash in the regular season as top-10 teams.

The No. 3 Tar Heels (17-4, 9-1) look like the team to beat in the ACC, but they suffered their first conference slip-up on Tuesday, dropping a road game against Georgia Tech. Yellow Jackets guard Naithan George hit a game-winning layup with 7.7 seconds left on the clock, ending North Carolina's 10-game winning streak.

RJ Davis is the Tar Heels' engine. He is averaging a career-best 21.5 points per game while shooting a career-high 44.9 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from beyond the arc.

The No. 7 Blue Devils (16-4, 7-2) have won 11 of their last 12 games after an unusually pedestrian 5-3 start to the season. Seven players scored at least eight points in Duke's 77-67 road victory against Virginia Tech on Monday; senior guard Jeremy Roach led the way with 16 points.

That balance is typical of Duke, as five different players average at least 11 points per game. Sophomore center Kyle Filipowski is undoubtedly the anchor, as he averages a team-best 17.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
