Duke won’t have to worry about any court storms when it hosts Louisville on Wednesday evening.

The Blue Devils (21-6) find themselves at the center of college basketball’s newest controversy, after star center Kyle Filipowski suffered a knee injury during Saturday’s court-storming at Wake Forest. The 7-foot Filipowski bumped into a fan amid the chaos and then required assistance to leave the court; afterwards, Filipowski said that he believed the contact was intentional.

Should Filipowski miss any time, Duke will surely feel his absence. Filipowski leads the team with 16.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, and his production is of the utmost importance as the Blue Devils try to chase down North Carolina for the ACC regular season title.

Louisville (8-19) sits alone in last place in the ACC, as the Kenny Payne era slogs forward. The Cardinals have dropped three consecutive games by double-digits, including a 72-50 loss to a poor Notre Dame team in their last game on Wednesday.

Five different Louisville players average in double figures, including Skyy Clark. The former top recruit and Illinois transfer leads the way with 13.3 points per game, including an 18-point, 8-rebound performance against the Fighting Irish.

The two teams previously met on January 23 in Louisville, a game that Duke won, 83-69. Sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor scored a game-high 24 points off the bench to pace the Blue Devils.
