A few of the NBA's biggest stars will meet in Philadelphia on Friday night for an East vs. West clash.
LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers are in the midst of a six-game road trip and looking to climb up the Western Conference standings. James (left ankle soreness) and Davis (non-COVID illness) sat out Wednesday's loss in Toronto, but they are both expected to be available against Philly.
Joel Embiid, James Harden and the 76ers, meanwhile, are hoping to snap a three-game losing streak and get back over .500. They are kicking off a seven-game homestand, and they understand the importance of racking up wins during this stretch.
"The next seven are big," Sixers forward P.J. Tucker said (via The Philadelphia Inquirer). "I think the timing is perfect right now, getting a couple of guys back from injury, the practices, the meetings, everybody being together, getting everything back together, I think is going to be big for us."
