Kurt Busch picked up right where he left off.

The Quaker State 400 had raced in Atlanta from 1960 to 2010 before it was moved to Kentucky. In the final two Quaker State 400 races before the shift, Busch won in 2009 and 2010, succeeding his brother, Kyle Busch, who won the race in 2008.

When the race returned to Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2021, Kurt Busch was at it again, winning the race for the third time to tie him with Fred Lorenzen and Bobby Allison for the third-most wins in the Atlanta race, trailing only Cale Yarborough (six) and Dale Earnhardt (five).

On Sunday, Kurt Busch will vie to surpass Lorenzen and Allison and move into sole possession of third place on the list of all-time wins in the race.
