There has always been a debate across MMA organizations: Who has the better fighters? The Professional Fighters League and newly-purchased Bellator will determine that as the promotions produce a champions vs. champions fight card on February 24. The event in Saudi Arabia airs on ESPN+ in the U.S. and DAZN in the U.K.

It is during Riyadh Season, which has included boxing events. The PFL-Bellator card will be the first major MMA event in the Saudi Arabia area. SRJ Sports Investments, launched by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, recently acquired a minority stake in the PFL worth $100 million.

Four title fights featuring top title holders from both promotions will be on the main card. PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira faces Bellator heavyweight champion and former light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader. Light heavyweight champions Impa Kasanganay (PFL) and Johnny Elben (Bellator) will clash, while Magomed Magomedkerimov (PFL) and Jason Jackson (Bellator) face off in welterweight action. Finally, featherweights collide when the PFL’s Jesus Pinedo faces Bellator legend Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.

Also on the card will be a clash between former UFC fighters Thiago Santos (PFL) and Yoel Romero (Bellator), as well as boxer Clay Collard vs. former Bellator champion AJ McKee. Vadim Nemkov (Bellator) relinquishes his light heavyweight title to move to heavyweight. Knockout artist Aaron Pico (Bellator) returns to action on the prelims.

Boxing royalty is also on the card. Biaggio Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali’s grandson, makes his pro debut. Meanwhile, multi-time undisputed champion Claressa Shields returns to the SmartCage.
