Inter Miami begins its defense of its Leagues Cup title against one of Liga MX's most-famous clubs.
Lionel Messi and Inter Miami hosts Puebla FC in both clubs' Leagues Cups opener on Saturday, July 27 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET, 5:00 p.m. PT.
Messi's arrival to the U.S. came just in time for Inter Miami's entrance to Leagues Cup last year, and the Argentine star led his club through a slalom maze of matches against MLS and Liga MX opposition. This time around, Inter Miami was placed in Group 3 with Puebla and Liga MX power Tigres UANL.

Puebla started off the season by making a top-eight finish in the Liga MX Apertura. However, the Clausura second half of the season has been a disaster, finishing in last place with just one win so far in the spring. Puebla will have time this summer to re-tool their roster to put themselves back up into the playoff picture this fall.

As expected with most Inter Miami home games, demand for tickets is very high. However, fans can still get in to the stadium for $98 per ticket in section 125. At the other end of the price spectrum, some fans could pay as much as $536 for seats in section 107.

Inter Miami Leagues Cup schedule and fixtures
The 2024 Leagues Cup is scheduled to begin on July 26, 2024, with the final taking place on August 25, 2024.
Inter Miami has been drawn in Eastern Conference Group 3 with Liga MX sides Tigres UANL and Puebla. Inter Miami kicks off Leagues Cup action this year on July 27, in a home match against Puebla, before facing Tigres at Houston's NRG Stadium on August 3.
The top two teams in each group advance to the Round of 16 and then a knockout-round style tournament commences.
During the Leagues Cup, no MLS games will take place as league play pauses for the month-long competition.
