The Boston Red Sox's win on Tuesday over the Toronto Blue Jays was another fantastic night for Red Sox starter Tanner Houck, who may not have earned the win but did his job.

Through 15 starts this season, Houck has posted a 2.14 ERA (fifth in baseball) and a 0.97 WHIP (10th). He's also accomplished a feat during this early part of the year that's only recently been achieved by two of the best pitchers in the history of the game.

With Houck throwing 5 2/3 innings on Tuesday, he joined Pedro Martinez (1999 and 2000) and Roger Clemens (1992) as the three most recent Red Sox pitchers to go at least 5 2/3 innings in each of their first 15 starts, according to Red Sox director of baseball communications and media relations J.P. Long.

Houck has been humming through this first half of the season and is certainly making a case for himself to start the All-Star Game for the American League. He'd be the first Red Sox starter since Chris Sale to start the exhibition game in 2018.
