Fire in the hole!

Tom Brady has clearly been working on perfecting his swing during the offseason, and likely during the 2.5 seconds he was retired. The future Hall-of-Famer is set to take part in The Match, a friendly golf competition that will team Brady with Aaron Rodgers. The two veterans will take on young bucks Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in a showdown that will raise money for a number of charitable organizations, including Feeding America.

Brady opted for diplomacy when describing his skills on the course.

"Although I would say golf's not my number one sport, it may have a way of bringing out the best in me," Brady said on TNT's Inside the NBA. "I think we're ready to take on these young bucks."

He proved as much on Wednesday. Brady posted a video to Twitter showing his preparations for next week's upcoming golf event. In the video, Brady smokes a ball towards the flagstick on the green.

The ball landed delicately, taking a sumptuous bounce before landing softly in the hole. Ace.

Fortunately for us, the video was captured on a drone. Viewers were able to track the ball's journey from Brady's club to the hole. We also got a glimpse at Brady's reaction, filled with unbridled joy, a weird high-step and a less-than-stellar attempt at a chest bump. Just in case that wasn't enough, footage of Brady's ace was backed by the dulcet tones of Migos. Sweet.

To his credit, Mahomes complimented Brady for his impressive feat on Twitter. However, he got a sly dig in, saying that Brady should save his impressive showing for June 1 when the lights are really on.

Allen was a little more skeptical. He responded to Brady's stroke with an Adam Sandler GIF. I'll let the video do the talking here.

Regardless of their views on the video, one thing is clear: Allen and Mahomes better be ready for June 1. It doesn't look like Brady will be taking it easy on his esteemed colleagues.
