Michael Block has long been a little Hollywood.

Long before he penned a Hollywood ending at the PGA Championship this weekend, Block was seemingly more than a bit familiar with the ways of the television cameras.

During the PGA pro's race to finish 15th at the year's second major championship, one of Block's old ads for his services at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club surfaced, which is every bit as hilarious as it is heartwarming.

The ad features Block extolling the benefits of Arroyo Trabucho in a charming made-for-public-TV way, showcasing his charisma in an ad for "Golf Heaven." You can take a gander below:

The ad has it all: Delicious-looking food, some skill shots, a runaway bride (of sorts) and a guy in a bunny mask sinking a putt, because, of course there is.

Block ended up winning $288,333 for his T-15 finish, splitting that slot money along with Tyrrell Hatton and Eric Cole. A note that Block's check would account for over 1,900 lessons at his $150-per-hour rate. That's life-changing money for a PGA pro.

It was a life-changing weekend, altogether. He airdropped in a hole-in-one on No. 15 — earning a surprise hug from Rory McIlroy in the process — just squeaked in the clinching putt in a fit-for-movie-cliche finish on 18, and he got a bit choked up when he saw video of his home club celebrating his efforts.

Those efforts landed him an automatic qualifier at next year's PGA Championship, set for Valhalla Golf Club. If the ad is any indicator, fellas may want to keep an eye on their significant others when Block takes the tee in Kentucky.
