The biggest name in golf returns to action this week at the Genesis Invitational.
Tiger Woods returns to Riviera Country Club in western Los Angeles to compete for the first time since the Hero World Challenge back in early December where he finished 18th in a loaded 20-player field with no cut. Prior to that, the 15-time major winner had not competed since withdrawing from the Masters last April.
After pulling out of Augusta, Woods underwent an ankle procedure that sidelined him for the majority of 2023 up until his return to the Hero World Challenge. Woods, who turned 48 in December, is attempting yet another comeback and hopes to use the Genesis Invitational as a springboard back to form as he gears up for another run at the Masters in two months.
No in-person experience in golf compares to following Woods and his massive galleries when he's in contention. This weekend should be no exception as the world's 893-ranked player — yes, 839rd — will no doubt command the most attention.

Genesis Invitational tickets 2024: Cost, cheapest price
At last year's Genesis Invitational, Woods' galleries went five or six rows deep with fans climbing trees and ladders to catch a glimpse of the 82-time PGA Tour winner. As of right now, tickets are still available on StubHub for all four rounds. Right now, the cheapest tickets for each of the four rounds are running about $100.

Where is the Genesis Invitational?
The Genesis Invitational is held at Riviera Country Club which is on the western side of Los Angeles.
If you're flying into LAX, it's about a 30-minute drive with no traffic (no traffic? In LA?!?! Lol) and located 15 miles northwest and just past Santa Monica.
Founded in 1926 and recognized as one of the top golf courses in the world, Riviera has hosted the Genesis Invitational 60 times including every year since 1999 and will be the host of golf at the 2028 Summer Olympics. It's hosted three PGA Tour majors, most recently the 1995 PGA Championship won by Steve Elkington.
