The penultimate race of the 2022 F1 season takes us back to Brazil and the famous Interlagos circuit which has seen plenty of action over the years. From Ayrton Senna’s first F1 victory on home soil in 1991 to Sebastian Vettel's dramatic world championship win in 2012, the Brazilian Grand Prix often delivers the drama.

This time around it'll be a case of whether anyone can catch world champion Max Verstappen, who claimed his 14th win of the campaign last time out in Mexico – a new record for the most wins ever recorded in a single F1 season.

But it's Ferrari who are historically most successful around the famous Interlagos track, and Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be keen to add to their team's tally of nine wins there and help break the team's poor run of recent form in 2022.

Don't rule out Lewis Hamilton either, who loves this track and this country so much so that this week he officially received Brazilian citizenship at a ceremony in the country's capital, Brasilia. With plenty of wet weather likely too, expect drama this weekend in Sao Paulo, with the third Sprint Race of the season also set to take place on Saturday.
