Tuesday's 11-game MLB DFS main slate is consistent across FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo. All start at 7:05 p.m. ET, so unfortunately the Brewers-Pirates, Padres-Reds, Mariners-Rays, and Rockies-Phillies aren't included. Nevertheless, we have some strong pitching options to go along with our usual variety of hitting studs and sleepers. Our biggest weather concern appears to be in the game between the Marlins and Nationals, so be careful if you include any of those players in your lineup picks.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Tuesday

SP Luis Severino, Yankees (vs. Orioles). Severino hasn’t been amazing thus far, but he easily gets his best matchup of the season today as the Yankees take on Baltimore. The Orioles have the second-highest strikeout rate at 26.7 percent and are 29th in runs per game, averaging just 2.75 per contest.

SP Kevin Gausman, Blue Jays (vs. Red Sox). Gausman has picked up right where he left off last season and once again looks like one of the best pitchers in the league. Boston’s offense hasn’t actually been that good, as it currently ranks 22nd in runs per game. Gausman just tossed eight innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts against the Red Sox in his last start.

C Salvador Perez, Royals (@ White Sox). Perez smashed against southpaws last year, slashing .302/.342/.640 with 18 home runs in just 172 at-bats, and that has carried right into this season, as he is 6-for-10 against lefties so far in 2022.

1B Christian Walker, Diamondbacks (vs. Dodgers). Walker is somehow hitting just .172 this season despite constantly mashing the baseball, but he does have four dingers and nine runs scored. I don’t overly love the D-backs today as a whole, but Walker is cheaper than he should be.

2B Gavin Lux, Dodgers (@ Diamondbacks). Lux has been decent this year, hitting .250 with a home run with a pair of steals. All of his damage has been against righties, and Zach Davies is one of the worst righties in the league.

3B Austin Riley, Braves (vs. Cubs). Riley is too cheap, and it's unclear why. Marcus Stroman is a really good pitcher, but he’s been awful so far this season. Moreover, Riley is on the opposite trajectory, hitting .295 with four home runs.

SS Jorge Mateo, Orioles (@ Yankees). Mateo is having a very interesting season so far. He is hitting just .231 with zero home runs and three runs scored, but yet he has an MLB-leading seven stolen bases and has not been caught yet. He’s not the worst of options at this price.

OF Willie Calhoun, Rangers (vs. Astros). Calhoun is off to a slow start this season, but he’s facing a pitcher who is off to an even worse start, as Jake Odorizzi has a 9.00 ERA through three outings. Calhoun is cheap and has some pop potential in this matchup.

MORE PICKS: SP Sandy Alcantara, Marlins (@ Nationals); C Will Smith, Dodgers (@ Diamondbacks); 1B Nathaniel Lowe, Rangers (vs. Astros); 2B Niko Goodrum, Astros (vs. Rangers); 3B Bobby Witt Jr., Royals (@ White Sox); SS Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Yankees (vs. Orioles); OF Joc Pederson, Giants (vs. A's)
