Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, value sleepers for Tuesday's daily fantasy baseball contests on FanDuel, DraftKings, Yahoo

The MLB DFS main slate for Tuesday depends on whether on FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo. DraftKings has a 10-game slate that includes the White Sox-Royals second game and the Diamondbacks-Dodgers tilt. For some reason, the Dodgers-Diamondbacks game is not on FanDuel's main slate. Yahoo is following in FanDuel's footsteps by not using those two games either, so there are fewer high-priced and value sleeper lineup options. Fortunately, we do not have any weather concerns, so it should be a fun night of daily fantasy baseball.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Tuesday

SP Logan Gilbert, Mariners (@ Blue Jays). Don’t get me wrong, the Blue Jays offense is terrifying, but it hasn't lived up to its potential just yet. The Jays are just 17th in wOBA and 16th in OPS against righthanded pitching, and They've struck out over 23 percent of the time against righties, as well. That’s dangerous facing a guy like Gilbert, who’s sporting a sparkling 2.13 ERA and a 27-percent K-rate. Gilbert is coming off a season-high nine K’s last time out. He’s only once scored fewer than 17.7 DK points this year.

SP James Kaprielian, A's (vs. Twins). It’s been a mixed bag of results for Kaprielian this year, but his one good start was really good. He was cruising in his start against Detroit until giving up two runs in the fifth inning and was having trouble locating, as well. The Twins are striking out 23.6 percent of the time versus righties this year, and J-Kap has a seven strikeout game on his ledger this season. He also had a 24.5-percent K-rate in the MLB last year.

C Jonah Heim, Rangers (vs. Angels). Talk about loving lefthanded pitching. Heim is 8-for-18 with two HRs and a .607 OPS this year. He homered on Monday and is a solid GPP option.

1B Trey Mancini, Orioles (vs. Yankees). I like Jameson Taillon, sure, but righthanded hitters are tagging him pretty well, batting .318 with an .850 OPS and a .371 wOBA against him. Mancini has homered in two of his past four games and is batting .351 with a .955 OPS over his past 10 contests.

2B Brendan Rodgers, Rockies (vs. Giants). Rodgers has really looked sharp lately notching a hit in five straight games, including three multi-hit games. If you’re stacking the Rockies, I like Rodgers, but I’m not in love with using him as a one-off.

3B Mike Brosseau, Brewers (vs. Braves). Brosseau is like the saying, "Here for a good time, not a long time." I say that because he always starts against lefthanded pitching, but once that lefty is gone, Brosseau usually is, too. That said, he’s hit .400 with an OPS north of 1.000 over his past 10 games. He's a GPP-only play, most likely best fitting within a Brewers stack.

SS Xander Bogaerts, Red Sox (vs. Astros). Bogaerts is having a fantastic season; we just haven’t seen a ton of power. Well, we got some power on Monday, blasting his third HR of the season. He’s hitting .350 with a .395 wOBA against righthanded pitching this year, and his matchup with Jose Urquidy is a good one, as he’s allowing a .304 average, .830 OPS, and .359 wOBA to righties.

OF Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees (@ Orioles). It's hard not to love Stanton in this spot considering the matchup. Spenser Watkins struggles with righthanded bats, which Stanton obviously is. He’s rolling right now slashing .342/.395/.789 with five HRs and 16 RBIs over his past 10 games.

MORE PICKS: SP Jameson Taillon, Yankees (@ Orioles); C Joey Bart, Giants (@ Rockies); 1B C.J. Cron, Rockies (vs. Giants); 2B Gleyber Torres, Yankees (@ Orioles); 3B Anthony Rendon, Angels (@ Rangers); SS Brendan Crawford, Giants (@ Rockies); OF Eli White, Rangers (vs. Angels)
