Tuesday's MLB DFS main slate is consistent across the board, as DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo are all using the same 11-game slate kicking off at 7:05 pm ET. It’s always nice when the sites line up and keep things a little more simple. This slate is so deep with pitching that, in addition to the guys mentioned in the Playbook, Michael Kopech, Noah Syndergaard, Julio Urias, Dakota Hudson, and Tyler Mahle are all SPs I could get behind in various daily fantasy baseball contests.

This is a preview of Fantasy Alarm's MLB DFS Playbook. To see the full Playbook, as well as get access to Fantasy Alarm's full suite of DFS tools, including a lineup generator, ownership and stat projections, value plays, and much more, become a subscriber!

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Tuesday

SP Brandon Woodruff, Brewers (vs. Reds). Woodruff has been bad to begin the year, but he has a high ceiling and a fantastic matchup tonight against Cincinnati. The Reds are 29th in runs per game this year with an average of just 3.05 runs per contest, and they have the fourth-highest strikeout rate in the league at 25.2 percent.

SP Bruce Zimmermann, Orioles (vs. Twins). Zimmermann has pitched very well, as he has scored at least 14 points on DK in all four of his starts despite only one win. His ERA currently sits at 0.93, and he is averaging over a strikeout per inning. Tonight he faces Minnesota, and the Twins have the ninth-highest strikeout rate at 24.7-percent.

C Rene Pinto, Rays (@ A's). Pinto is a minimum- priced punt play -- it's as simple as that. This matchup isn’t terrifying, but personally I will probably pay up for Keibert Ruiz in most lineups.

1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays (vs. Yankees). Vladdy isn’t at peak Vladdy yet, but he’s been solid, hitting .277 with six dingers thus far. He is a reverse-splits guy with more success against righties, and he's had success against this particular righty, going 3-for-9 (.333) with a dinger against Jameson Taillon.

2B Josh Harrison, White Sox (@ Cubs). Harrison is 5-for-9 with a double in each game over his past three games, scoring 12, 12, and five points on DK, respectively. He should be able to keep the streak going today with a matchup against Drew Smyly.

3B Bobby Witt Jr., Royals (vs. Cardinals). Witt Jr. got off to a slow start, but he is now on a 10-game hitting streak, hitting .310 with three steals and three doubles in that span. He is very cheap, and eventually he is going to put his first career long ball in the seats.

SS Lucius Fox, Nationals (@ Rockies). Fox finally broke free from his slump to start the year, as he went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored on Sunday. Now he heads to Coors Field and can look to build off that momentum. He is very cheap for a Coors Field player.

OF Mike Trout, Angels (@ Red Sox). Trout is doing Trout-like things to begin the year, slashing .324/.459/.721 with six home runs and an AL-leading 17 runs scored. He is a reverse-splits guy for his career, so we love the righty-righty matchup tonight.

MORE PICKS: SP Joe Ryan, Twins (@ Orioles); 1B Jose Abreu, White Sox (@ Cubs); 2B Whit Merrifield, Royals (vs. Cardinals); 3B Sheldon Neuse, A's (vs. Rays); SS Carlos Correa, Twins (@  Orioles); OF Kyle Tucker, Astros (vs. Mariners)
