Thursday's MLB DFS main slate is a six-game set starting at 6:45 p.m. ET on FanDuel and DraftKings. Yahoo will use a five-game slate starting at 7:05 p.m. ET, leaving off the Mets-Phillies game. We don’t have as many potential daily fantasy baseball lineup picks to choose from tonight, but there are still plenty of studs and sleepers to like with this slate, including the fact that we do not have any weather concerns.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Thursday

SP Robbie Ray, Mariners (vs. Rays). Ray has tallied at least 15.9 points on DK in four of his five starts this season. His strikeouts are way down, as he has just 26 through 30.1 innings pitched, which is limiting his upside, but he still has that ability. This matchup against the Rays is fine.

C Tucker Barnhart, Tigers (@ Astros). Barnhart is hitting .295 on the year, but his upside is very limited due to the fact that he provides virtually no counting stats. He is a fine cash play to get you a handful of points, but I wouldn’t use him in GPPs.

1B Pete Alonso, Mets (@ Phillies). Alonso is 5-for-12 with a home run and three RBIs over the past three games. He has been great against Nola in his career, going 12-for-34 (.353) with four home runs against him.

2B Jazz Chisholm Jr., Marlins (@ Padres). Chisholm is currently riding a seven-game hitting streak, bringing his season line to a .329 batting average with four home runs, five steals, and 19 RBIs. He is facing one of the worst pitchers on the slate today on top of that.

3B Alex Bregman, Astros (vs. Tigers). Bregman is off to a bit of a slow start, hitting just .247, but he does have four home runs and 16 RBIs. This matchup is favorable for him on a splits front, as he hits lefties better and Tarik Skubal struggles against righties.

SS Brendon Crawford, Giants (vs. Cardinals). Crawford is slashing .234/.329/.359 with two HRs against righties this year compared to .167/.286/.278 against lefties. We saw similar huge gaps last season, too, as he slashed .319/.401/.560 against righties compared to .244/.300/.422 against southpaws.

OF Kyle Schwarber, Phillies (vs. Mets). Schwarber has owned Taijuan Walker, going 5-for-13 (.385) with five home runs against him. On top of that, he already has seven home runs and 16 RBIs this season.
