SN Power Rankings: Baylor strengthens hold on No. 1; LSU jumps up

Baylor and Ohio State handled things last week and are 1-2 again this week in the Sporting News Power Rankings Top 20.

But LSU jumped from No. 6 to No. 3 with its win at home against Florida as just 34 votes separated LSU from the No. 8 team, Michigan State.

Of course, the Spartans won the weekend's most dramatic game, stunning Michigan on the game's final play. But the SN voters didn't jump to reward Michigan State — it moved up one place — and dropped Michigan just three spots to 15th.

The week's biggest mover: Stanford moved from 17th to just outside the top 10 at No. 11.
