Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad for the very first time on Tuesday, April 25 at 19:30 PM IST.
With eight points from six matches, defending champions GT are currently fourth in the Indian Premier League (IPL) standings. Meanwhile, five-time champions MI are placed seventh, with six points from six matches.
GT defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 7 runs in their previous IPL game. Though the team from Gujarat put up only 135 runs on the board, their bowlers rose to the occasion and restricted LSG to 128-7.
On the other hand, MI suffered a 13-run defeat against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
PBKS batters Cameron Green (67 off 43) and Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26) ripped into the Mumbai bowlers to help their side to a mammoth total of 214. MI fell short by 13 runs. PBKS pacer Arshdeep Singh bowled a brilliant spell of 4 for 29 to keep MI batters in check.
The two teams have faced off just once previously in the IPL, with MI beating GT by five runs on the occasion.

MI are easing star pacer Jofra Archer back into the IPL limelight. Archer missed the first few games due to an elbow injury but made a comeback against PBKS in MI's previous match. He conceded 42 runs in his four over and claimed a wicket.
There are no injury concerns for GT.
