Will it be repeat or revenge on August 20? Anthony Joshua is hoping for the latter as he challenges Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch for the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO, WBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles.

The fight will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Ring heavyweight title is on the line following Tyson Fury's retirement

Usyk made his pro debut in 2013. From 2017-2018 he competed in the World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight tournament. By winning it all, he became undisputed cruiserweight champion. Usyk moved up to heavyweight in 2019. After beating Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora, he overcame Joshua via a unanimous decision last September to become the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion.

Joshua, who is looking to become a three-time heavyweight champion, recently got a new trainer in Robert Garcia. Garcia believes a motivated Joshua will be able to take down Usyk, something no man has ever done before.

"Usyk was the better man, congratulations to him, but come August 20 we’re going to do whatever it takes to win those titles back," Garcia stated. "I know he (Joshua) can do it. He’s the bigger man, he’s the stronger man, he’s got the reach advantage, so we’re going to take advantage of all that. Come that day, I think without a doubt we’re going to have a three-time Heavyweight Champion of the World. We’ve got to be prepared for everything. Usyk is a great fighter, he’s got skills, reflexes, accuracy – he’s got everything. I think Anthony has the tools to beat him. We just have to do the things in the gym.
