KSI’s boxing history

KSI started his boxing career with a TKO win over Joe Weller in an amateur bout in February 2018. He then fought Logan Paul in August of that year in Manchester. The fight ended in a majority decision draw. 

Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing liked what they saw and gave KSI and Paul an opportunity. In a legitimate fight inside Los Angeles' Staples Center, KSI beat Paul via split decision in 2019. KSI and Alex Wassabi were going to fight before Wassabi backed out due to a concussion. 

On August 27, KSI beat rapper Swarmz via KO. Later that night, he also beat boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda via KO. This was the first MF & DAZN: X Series event.  

Deji’s boxing history

Deji fought Jake Paul in 2018 on the undercard of KSI vs. Logan Paul I. Paul would beat Deji via TKO in the fifth round. Deji lost to Vinnie Hacker and Alex Wassabi in his next two bouts. There were exhibitions. 

Deji earned his first win in his last fight on August 27 by beating Fousey via TKO. That was his first professional bout.
