Former heavyweight title challenger Dillian Whyte looks to get back in the win column when he takes on unbeaten American Jermaine Franklin at the Wembley Arena in London on November 26.

Back in April, Whyte (27-3 with one no-contest, 18 KOs) was knocked out in round six by WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury before a record U.K. crowd of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. Fury was in terrific form, and the 35-year-old Whyte was unable to cope with his countryman’s mobility, speed, and sharp shooting.

"It's great to be back, doing what I love doing," said a rejuvenated Whyte. "I can't wait to get into the ring and show the world that when push comes to shove I can get right back up in Wembley and remind everyone why I was WBC number one for over four years.

"As an undefeated heavyweight, Franklin is a dangerous guy but I'm going to teach him quite a few lessons at the OVO on November 26. Most importantly, I'm going to teach him how to lose."

Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs) turned professional in 2015 and has dutifully completed his learning curve in the paid ranks. However, managerial issues forced the Michigan native to endure a two-and-a-half-year layoff, which ended in May when Franklin stopped Rodney Moore in the fifth round of a stay-busy bout.

“I’m super hyped to fight in the UK,” said Franklin. “They love boxing and I plan on making a statement when I beat Dillian. I want them to be loud and love my boxing style and have them embrace me as the people’s champ. The world will see the real Jermaine Franklin Jr.

“Dillian is a warrior. He has heart and he’s been with the best. It’s time for him to step aside and let the ‘989 Assassin’ make him body number 22 on my body count. The kind of fight I expect is a brawl. Dillian wants to prove he’s got something left in the tank. I want to show him I’m the future of boxing and for USA Heavyweights."

Whyte is eager to lock in a money-spinning rematch with Anthony Joshua, who handed Whyte his first professional defeat in December 2015. Can Whyte rebound in style, or will this be a coming out party for the confident Franklin?
