All-Star guard Jalen Brunson is averaging 35.1 points and 7.4 assists over the Knicks' last 17 games. Josh Hart averaged 12.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists while playing 39 minutes against Philadelphia this season.
The 76ers made a late push for a top-six seed in the East when Embiid returned from a knee injury. Embiid finished the season averaging 34.7 points and 11 rebounds in just 39 games.
The Sixers finished 31-8 with Embiid in the lineup and 16-27 without him this season. New York will try to contain Embiid with centers Mitchell Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein.
