The hot-shooting Cavaliers will extend their lead in the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Magic on Monday in Cleveland.

All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points, Jarrett Allen had 18 rebounds and fourth-seeded Cleveland rolled past No. 5 Orlando 97-83 in Game 1 on Saturday. Evan Mobley had 16 points, all in the first half, and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cavaliers.

Cleveland is looking for redemption after being knocked out the playoffs by the Knicks in the first round last year.

Orlando's Paolo Banchero scored 24 points but had nine turnovers in his playoff debut. Meanwhile, the Magic shot 32.6 percent from the field and 21.6 percent from beyond the 3-point line. Orlando also struggled from the free-throw line, making just 19 of 30 attempts.
