Patrick Beverley wasn't happy toward the end of the Bucks' Game 6 loss to the Pacers.

While at the end of the bench with 2:32 remaining in the contest, Beverley threw a basketball at a fan, striking them in the head. The fan, who wasn't looking at Beverley, was two rows behind the Bucks' bench.

Another fan lightly passed the ball back to the Bucks guard, but Beverley heaved it back at the fan. However, this fan was looking and deflected the ball with his hands.

It was reported on Friday that the fan allegedly yelled "Cancun, Cancun on 3" towards the Bucks bench, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

After the league looked into Beverley's exchange with the fans, the NBA decided to suspend the Bucks guard for four games without pay for "forcefully throwing a basketball multiple times at spectators and an inappropriate interaction with a reporter during media availability."

Beverley initially pushed back on the altercation, placing some of the blame on the fans instead of taking responsibility for his own actions.

On Friday morning, he owned up to his mistake, stating that he has "to be better."
