Two of the biggest wrestling promotions outside of WWE will be teaming up to entertain millions of fans from all over. On June 26, All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling will co-promote AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. The event will take place inside Chicago’s United Center.

The main event will be Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi competing for the interim AEW World Title. CM Punk, the AEW World Champion, is out of action with an injury. Moxley is a former AEW World Champion while Tanahashi, NJPW’s Ace, is a former multi-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

Also on the card, Jay White will defend the WGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada, "Hangman" Adam Page, and Adam Cole, while Will Ospreay defends the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title against Orange Cassidy. Talent from New Japan also appearing on the card includes Minoru Suzuki and Shota Umino.
