UFC 303 fight card: Confirmed bouts

Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler; Welterweights

In a non-title main event, Conor McGregor faces Michael Chandler.

McGregor (22-6) returns to action for the first time since July 2021, when he lost against Dustin Poirier. Suffering his second straight loss to Poirier, McGregor's tibia was broken in that fight.

The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion has been out of action since, appearing in the new Road House movie while promoting his businesses.

Chandler (23-8) is a former three-time Bellator lightweight champion who is 1-3 in his last four fights. “Iron” Mike last fought in November 2022, when he too lost to Poirier. He has won four fight bonuses in five contests with the UFC since joining the promotion in 2021.

Jamahal Hill vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.; Light Heavyweights

The co-main event will see former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill return to action against Khalil Rountree Jr.

Hill (12-2, 1 NC) won the UFC light heavyweight title in 2023, becoming the first Dana White's Contender Series alum to win gold. He relinquished the belt after rupturing his Achilles and lost his last fight in April against Alex Pereira for the title. This is a fast turnaround fight for “Sweet Dreams.”

Rountree (13-5, 1 NC) is on a five-fight win streak and is ranked eighth in the UFC's light heavyweight rankings.

Marya Bueno Silva vs. Macy Chiasson; Bantamweights

Marya Bueno Silva and Macy Chiasson look to shake things up at bantamweight.

Silva (10-3-1, 1 NC) is a former Dana White's Contender Series alum. A big win against Holly Holm was overturned after she failed a drug test, which halted her momentum. She is ranked third in the rankings.

Chiasson (9-3), ranked seventh in the rankings, is 2-2 in her last four fights. The Ultimate Fighter: Heavy Hitters winner looks to go 2-0 in 2024.

Cub Swanson vs. Andre Fili; Featherweights

Cub Swanson vs. Andre Fili could be a violent affair.

A fighter with former soccer aspirations, Swanson (29-13) turned pro in 2004. A UFC Hall of Famer (Fight Wing), he is tied with McGregor and Chad Mendes for the second-most knockouts (six) in featherweight history.

Fili (23-11, 1 NC) is 3-5 with one no-contest in his last nine fights and 2-2 in his previous four. He has not won consecutive fights since 2019.

Joe Pyfer vs. Marc-Andre Barriault; Middleweights

The exciting Joe Pyfer returns against knockout machine Marc-Andre Barriault.

The former Dana White's Contender Series standout, Pyfer (12-3) had a five-fight win streak snapped by Jack Hermansson in February.

Michelle Waterson-Gomez vs. Gillian Robertson; Strawweights

Michelle Waterson-Gomez looks for her first win since 2020 against Gillian Robertson.

Waterson (18-12) is a former Invicta FC atomweight champion. Over the last five years, she has gone 1-6, with her last run of consecutive wins taking place between 2018 and 29019

Robertson (13-8) is ranked fifteenth in the UFC's strawweight rankings, right behind Waterson. The Canadian is 2-1 in her last three fights and holds the record for most submission wins (seven) in the UFC (for women).

Stay tuned as more fights are expected for UFC 303.
