The new Premier League season is just hours away, and fans are excited to see their club's latest big-money signings in action.
Perhaps even more satisfying for a supporter, though, is seeing a young player flourish when given the opportunity on the biggest stage.
And so, while the likes of Phil Foden, Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi are household names following their exploits last season, there are a whole host of teenage players ready to kick-start their careers in the coming months.

But who should you be looking out for when the teams are named on opening weekend? Goal breaks down some of the top talents the English top flight has to offer in 2019-20...
Max Aarons | Norwich City
The most experienced player on this list in terms of senior appearances, the difference for Aarons is that all of his minutes came in the Championship, though the expectation is he will make the step up look effortless.
Despite the presence of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the 19-year-old has already been touted as a future England international right-back and was linked with Manchester United over the summer.
As impressive going forward as he is defensively, his form will likely dictate whether the Canaries are able to survive under Daniel Farke and re-establish themselves in the Premier League.
Rhian Brewster | Liverpool
The Golden Boot winner as England won the Under-17 World Cup in 2017, Brewster has been beset by serious injuries ever since but is now fit and raring to make up for lost time.
With Daniel Sturridge having departed Anfield and with no replacement having been brought in from elsewhere, the expectation is that the 19-year-old will provide back-up for Liverpool's fabled front three alongside Divock Origi.
Some impressive performances early in pre-season suggested he is ready for that responsibility, and with the increased workload being placed on Jurgen Klopp's side this season he should have plenty of opportunities to make his mark.
Mason Greenwood | Manchester United
One of the biggest talking points of pre-season at Old Trafford has been the emergence of 17-year-old Greenwood as a viable first-team option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Comfortable on both flanks and through the middle due to his ability with both feet, it would come as a huge shock were he not to make the matchday squad for United's opening game against Chelsea on Sunday.
There have even been some suggesting he be handed a starting berth such has been the impression he has made, and it is unlikely to be long until that comes to fruition.
Ki-Jana Hoever | Liverpool
Having made his Reds debut as a 16-year-old in the FA Cup against Wolves last season, versatile defender Hoever comes into the new campaign as a viable option for Klopp in a number of positions across the backline.
An eye-catching display in Liverpool's final pre-season friendly against Lyon suggested he has what it takes to hold his own against some of Europe's best, and he may well become a regular among the matchday squad as the season wears on.
If injuries were to strike then he may even find himself in the firing line before the campaign is out.
Ben Johnson | West Ham
While West Ham have spent the summer adding eye-catching forward players to their squad such as Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals, the emergence of full-back Johnson has perhaps been the biggest talking point for Irons supporters.
Comfortable on either flank, Manuel Pellegrini is said to be a big fan of the 19-year-old, who made his senior debut against Manchester City in the Premier League last season.
Johnson also has experience of playing in midfield, and as such some are even tipping him to step into Declan Rice's shoes once the England international eventually flies the nest.
Gavin Kilkenny | Bournemouth
Irish midfielder Kilkenny might not have been on the radar of many Bournemouth fans before this pre-season, but his performances leading into the new campaign have been as such that some are now calling for him to start against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The 19-year-old rounded off the Cherries' friendly schedule by scoring in a man-of-the-match display against Lyon on Saturday and, with David Brooks out for three months, could be the man to step into the Wales international's shoes behind the strikers.
Eddie Howe has admitted that Kilkenny is not far away from being named in the starting line-up, and he has the potential to be a household name come the end of May.
Matty Longstaff | Newcastle
While his brother, Sean, has spent the summer at the centre of a transfer saga involving Manchester United, the younger of the two Longstaffs on Newcastle's books has been making a name for himself.
The 19-year-old only made his reserve-team debut last season, but a wondergoal against Saint-Etienne in the Magpies' final pre-season match of the summer has seen him become the talk of the town in the days leading up to the new campaign.
While slight of stature, it is believed that Longstaff has what it takes to follow in his sibling's footsteps and make a midfield role at St James' Park his own in the near future.
Gabriel Martinelli | Arsenal
While bigger names have arrived at the Emirates Stadium over the summer, their first new arrival has the potential to become the most crucial over the next decade.
Martinelli was brought in from Brazilian outfit Ituano, and the 18-year-old has already found the net during pre-season for the Gunners while showcasing his pace and willingness to run with the ball.
Though likely to get most of his opportunities in cup competitions, should he impress there then league appearances are likely to follow before the campaign is out.
Michael Obafemi | Southampton
Having just broken into the Southampton first team under Ralph Hasenhuttl at the turn of the year, a serious hamstring injury picked up in February saw Obafemi ruled out for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign.
Now back fighting fit, the 19-year-old - who last season broke the club's youngest goalscorer record - is set to battle it out with Shane Long and new signing Che Adams for a starting berth at St Mary's Stadium.
Already a Republic of Ireland international, expect him to play a key role if the Saints, as expected, push towards a top-half finish this time around.
Troy Parrott | Tottenham
Despite being just 17 and having never made a senior competitive appearance, the excitement around forward Parrott has been at fever pitch for some time.
Calls have already begun for him to be handed an international call-up back in his native Ireland, and a series of impressive pre-season showings have suggested he is ready to make the step up into Mauricio Pochettino's first-team plans.
With Fernando Llorente gone and no out-and-out striker having been signed this summer, he is likely to provide back-up to Harry Kane alongside wide forwards Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min.
