NHL playoffs schedule 2022: Full bracket, dates, times, TV channels for every series

It's nearly here. We are down to two teams in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs with the final series set to start soon. 

The Avalanche and the Lightning will square off for a chance at raising the Stanley Cup. Tampa Bay is eyeing a three-peat, coming into this series as champions from 2020 and 2021. They would be the first team to accomplish the rare feat since the Islanders in the early '80s. 

Opposing them is the preseason favorites to win the championship, the Avalanche. Colorado has not won it all since 2001 when current general manager Joe Sakic was still playing as their captain. 

It all starts on Wednesday, June 15 with Tampa Bay and Colorado playing in Game 1.

• TV (U.S.): ABS
• TV (Canada): Sportsnet, CBC, TVA Sports
• Stream (U.S.): ESPN+, fuboTV
• Stream (Canada): SN Now, SN NOW+

The Stanley Cup FInal will be broadcast on ABC for all seven games of the series. U.S.  viewers can stream the games on ESPN+ or fuboTV. 

Sportsnet and CBC will show all the series in Canada, as well TVA Sports for the French-speaking audience. SN NOW will be streaming the finals. 

How will the NHL playoffs work in 2022?

Here's a quick overview of how the 2022 postseason will work:

• Eight teams in each conference make the postseason: the top three teams in each division and two wild-card teams.
• In the first round, the division winners play the wild-card teams while the second-and third-place teams in each division face off.
• The first-round winners in each conference will play each other in the second round. The winner of the series with the No. 2 and No. 3 teams for one division plays the winner of the series with their division winner playing the wild card team. For example, for this postseason, the winner of the Panthers-Capitals plays the winner of the Maple Leafs-Lightning, regardless of whether the lower seed wins or not, keeping the division "together" in the bracket. 
• The winners of the second-round series will face off in the conference finals.
• The conference champions will meet in the Stanley Cup Final.
