The 2022 Stanley Cup Final is not over yet. 

The Avalanche could have clinched the championship in Game 5 on Friday, but the Lightning had other plans. Tampa Bay secured a 3-2 win to force a Game 6 on Sunday. 

Ondrej Palat's goal with 6:22 left in the third period stood as the game-winner. The Tampa Bay winger was left all alone in the slot after taking a pass from Nikita Kucherov and beat Avalanche goalie Darcy Kuemper between the legs.

The Lightning live to see another day, and now the series shifts back to Tampa with Colorado up 3-2. The back-to-back defending champions will have one more game at home, where another win would bring the series to a deciding Game 7.
