The Bruins had the best regular season in NHL history last year, finishing with 65 wins and 135 points. That success didn't translate to the NHL Playoffs, though, as Boston fell to Florida in the first round.
A Stanley Cup contender again this season, the Bruins will attempt to use that painful ending as fuel for a deep postseason run, starting with a series against the Maple Leafs. Boston brings star power and depth to the matchup with elite players like David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand.
But Toronto also enters the bracket with high expectations. The Maple Leafs have some of the NHL's top scorers in Auston Matthews, William Nylander and Mitch Marner, and they are motivated to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1967.
