Odell Beckham, Jr. injury update: Browns receiver leaves game, returns

The Browns' injury woes continued in the first half of their game Thursday night against the Broncos.

Cleveland entered the game with 11 players designated as questionable or out, including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham suited up and played in the game despite being questionable right until kickoff with a shoulder injury.

Late in the first half, Beckham appeared to land on the injured shoulder, though reports said that, in fact, Beckham's leg was being tended to.

Regardless, Beckham left the game, but he was on the sideline for the start of the second half with his team up 10-0. After the Broncos scored a touchdown to cut the margin to 10-7, Beckham took the field for the ensuing Browns drive.

He was a non-factor in the passing game prior to his injury, with no catches on four targets. He then made two catches for 23 yards to begin the second half. Beckham came into the game with 14 receptions for 203 yards and zero touchdowns.

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was Cleveland quarterback Case Keenum's favorite target in the first half, with four catches for 30 yards.
