This weekend, the Bears face off against their owner in the first showdown of the 2022 season.

Well, kind of: It was last season when Aaron Rodgers gleefully declared to the Soldier Field faithful that he "still owns" the Bears, a fact that remained so.

This year, the Bears have a new look, and are coming off a surprising-but-sloppy Week 1 win over the 49ers. With Matt Eberflus patrolling the sidelines and Luke Getsy given the task of squeezing the best football out of Justin Fields, Week 1 showed Chicago fans what a little bit of organizational competency looks like.

Will that translate into a win over their most hated division rival? Sunday will be the first litmus test to see.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Packers looked miserable in their season opener against the Vikings, with Rodgers clearly having issues connecting with his wide receiver corps — something that had been a point of emphasis for the passer through preseason.
