What time does the NASCAR race start today? Schedule, TV channel for Coca-Cola 600

NASCAR's All-Star Race was the intermission the racing calendar so desperately needed. After the refresh, drivers are hoping to make the most of the second half of the season beginning with Sunday's Coca-Cola 600.

Held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 400-lap race is one of the most challenging on the NASCAR calendar. Light conditions rapidly change during the race, forcing racers to adapt on the fly.

Last year's winner, Kyle Larson, has been solid so far this year, placing in the top five in six different races, including a victory at the WISE Power 400 back in February. Another solid showing would go a long way for Larson, who sits about 100 points back from current leader Chase Elliott. Elliott finished second in last year's iteration, so it seems the two may be on a collision course for another exciting showdown.
