Wednesday night's MLB DFS main slate is consistent across the board, as Yahoo, DraftKings, and FanDuel will all be using a full nine-game slate starting at 7:05 p.m. ET. We don’t appear to have any serious weather concerns either, so the options are plentiful for our daily fantasy baseball lineup picks.

This is a preview of Fantasy Alarm's MLB DFS Playbook. To see the full Playbook, as well as get access to Fantasy Alarm's full suite of DFS tools, including a lineup generator, ownership and stat projections, value plays, and much more, become a subscriber!

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Wednesday

SP Shane McClanahan, Rays (@ Yankees). McClanahan has been absolutely incredible this season with a 1.87 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, seven wins, and 98 strikeouts in 72.1 innings of work, and he has an insane DK ppg average of 26.6. In fact, he's scored at least 25.3 DK points in five straight outings and is coming off a game in which he scored 38.2. He faced the Yankees earlier this season and no issue with them, firing six innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts while picking up the win.

SP Roansy Contreras, Pirates (@ Cardinals). Contreras struggled a bit in his last start but his numbers on the year are still very strong with a 2..57 ERA and 33 strikeouts across 28 innings of work. The Cardinals are a very tough matchup, so I would only consider Contreras for GPP action.

C Will Smith, Dodgers (vs. Angels). Smith is swinging a hot bat, hitting .306 with two home runs and two doubles over his past 10 games. He’s also been far better against lefties this year than righties, slashing .310/.420/.476 against southpaws compared to .222/.327/.389 against righties.

1B C.J. Cron, Rockies (vs. Guardians). Cron at home and facing a lefty is exactly when we really want to use him. He is slashing an absurd .352/.404/.664 at home this season with 10 of his 14 home runs and 56 of his 75 total runs and RBIs.

2B Brendan Rodgers, Rockies (vs. Guardians). Rodgers has been a completely different player at home this season, slashing .283/.336/.508 with all six of his home runs and 49 of his 59 runs and RBIs. Compare that to his numbers on the road, where he's slashing .220/.256/.256.

3B Patrick Wisdom, Cubs (vs. Padres). Wisdom isn’t great, but he does have power and is very solid against lefties, slashing .276/.354/.535 against them compared to .201/.286/.430 against righties. On top of that, he has a home run in three at-bats against Ryan Weathers.

SS Bo Bichette, Blue Jays (vs. Orioles). Bichette is swinging a hot bat, hitting .318 with three home runs and 15 total runs and RBIs over his past 10 games. His season numbers don't necessarily blow you away (.265 with 10 home runs, four steals, and 67 total runs and RBIs across 61 games), but he hits lefties well and Bruce Zimmermann is a tomato can.

OF Adam Duvall, Braves (vs. Nationals). Duvall is hot right now, hitting .297 with five home runs and 21 total runs and RBIs over his past 10 games. He has crushed Erick Fedde in his career, too, going 7-for-15 (.467) with two bombs against him.

MORE PICKS: SP Nestor Cortes, Yankees (vs. Rays); C Gabriel Moreno, Blue Jays (vs. Orioles); 1B Eric Hosmer, Padres (@ Cubs); 2B Luis Urias, Brewers (@ Mets); 3B Rafael Devers, Red Sox (vs. A's); SS Trea Turner, Dodgers (vs. Angels); OF Oscar Gonzalez, Guardians (@ Rockies)
