The Steelers and Browns will renew their rivalry in the Week 17 installment of Monday Night Football. Both teams have had disappointing seasons, but that shouldn’t take away from the intensity of this matchup. The Browns are 1.5-point road favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is a modest 41.5, but there are still a few chalky stars and some intriguing sleepers for our FanDuel single-game DFS lineup.
Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel's single-game contests: The point total for the "MVP" is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn't cost any additional money like the "Captain" in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel's default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs, and there are no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games like on DraftKings.

FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Browns vs. Steelers
$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team
MVP (1.5x points): RB Nick Chubb, Browns, ($16,000)
Chubb has totaled 41.7 FanDuel points over the past two weeks, including a 25.9-point outburst in Week 16. It was his fifth time eclipsing the 20-point plateau, and it’s fair to expect another full complement of touches with or without Kareem Hunt (knee) in the mix.
FLEX RB Najee Harris, Steelers ($15,000)
Harris has only gone over the 20-point barrier once over his past nine games, but we can safely assume he will receive the necessary workload to post another big score. He scored 19.5 FD points in Week 8 against these Browns, who remain a middle-of-the-pack defensive unit.
FLEX WR Diontae Johnson, Steelers ($13,000)
Johnson continues to handle healthy target shares, but he’s slowed down a bit over the past three weeks. He’s coming off a 6-51-1 line and 12.1 FD points, and we’re going to bet on him being heavily utilized in the passing game on Monday night. Johnson’s five carries on the season may leave him short of the Deebo Samuel "dual-threat" class, but it’s an extra bit of opportunity for him to deliver a big play.
FLEX TE Pat Freiermuth, Steelers ($9,500)
Freiermuth missed last week’s game because of a concussion, but he’s cleared protocol and is set to suit up on Monday night. He’s scored three touchdowns over his past five games and has already established himself as one of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s favorite targets, particularly in the red zone.
FLEX WR Anthony Schwartz, Browns ($6,000)
This is a classic roll of the dice. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has talked about the increased role Schwartz will play over these next two weeks. Even though coaches often make declarations that don’t come to fruition, we’re going to take a chance on Schwartz in this spot. He has lid-lifting capabilities and offers an element to the passing game that the Browns will want to utilize.
