Mike Williams update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Williams (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Friday and removed from the team's final injury report, putting him on track to play on Sunday night against Miami.

UPDATE: According to The Athletic's Daniel Popper, Williams (ankle) was seen participating in individual drills during Thursday's practice.

Williams (ankle) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday after missing the past two games with a high-ankle sprain.

It's good to see the veteran wide receiver back at practice after aggravating his ankle injury in Week 11 against the Chiefs. If Williams can make it through a full week without any setbacks, we should see him on the field against the Dolphins on Sunday night. Miami allows the 12th-most passing yards per game, so Williams remains a solid starting option. Josh Palmer can still work as a flex, and if Williams sits again, both Palmer and DeAndre Carter can be in deep-league lineups.

Jaylen Waddle injury update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

Waddle (fibula) was among several Dolphins players listed as limited at Wednesday's practice, according to the Miami Herald's Daniel Oyefusi. The second-year wide receiver suffered the leg injury in last week's loss against the 49ers. He left the game in the second quarter but returned after undergoing x-rays. He finished with one reception (five targets) for nine yards.

Assuming Waddle continues to practice in at least a limited fashion, he should be good to go against the Chargers' middle-of-the-road pass defense. If Waddle has a setback, we'll likely see Trent Sherfield step up in his place and merit a WR3/flex spot in 12-team leagues.

Treylon Burks injury update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Burks (concussion) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, according to beat writer Jim Wyatt.

UPDATE: According to ESPN's Turron Davenport, Burks (concussion) was not seen during Thursday's practice.

Burks (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of the Titans' Week 14 matchup against the Jaguars. The rookie wide receiver suffered a concussion in last week's game against the Eagles after a big hit from Eagles safety Marcus Epps while catching a touchdown in the first half. Burks did not return to the game and will have to pass through the league's concussion protocol before he can play on Sunday.

If Burks cannot suit up, the Titans will have to lean on the combo of Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who were held to two receptions for 10 yards. Outside of those two wide receivers, we could see rookie tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo get some more targets against a Jaguars' defense that allows the 12th-most fantasy points per game to TEs. Okonkwo led the Titans in receiving last week with four receptions (five targets) for 68 yards. All would be decent deep-league sleepers given the favorable matchups.

Courtland Sutton injury update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Sutton (hamstring) was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, according to beat writer Zac Stevens.

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett told reporters on Wednesday that it's "not looking good" for Sutton (hamstring) to play on Sunday against the Chiefs, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold.

This latest injury update on Sutton coincides with what we heard from Hackett earlier in the week, where he said that the veteran wide receiver was "day-to-day" with the soft tissue injury. Sutton suffered the injury in the second half of last week's game against the Ravens. If Sutton is ultimately ruled out, Jerry Jeudy solidifies himself as a low-tier WR2 in fantasy this week against a Chiefs' defense that allows the fifth-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season. Along with Jeudy, Kendall Hinton also becomes a fantasy-relevant option in Week 14 as a flex. Hinton had one reception for 11 yards last week, but in the Broncos' previous three games, he had 12 receptions (17 targets) for 154 yards.

Kadarius Toney injury update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Toney was officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, according to beat writer Herbie Teope.

UPDATE: According to Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest, Toney (hamstring) is participating in the Chiefs' Thursday practice.

Toney (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday ahead of the Chiefs' matchup against the Broncos. The second-year wide receiver has missed the past two games after suffering the soft-tissue injury in Week 11 against the Chargers.

It's good to see Toney back at practice this week after he did not practice at all last week. If he can make it through a full week of practice, he has a good chance to play on Sunday. However, he might not be worth starting, as the Broncos' defense allows the fewest fantasy points per game to WRs this season. Since Toney has been out, we've seen an uptick in targets for veteran Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who has become the Chiefs' vertical threat within their offense, and Skyy Moore, and this situation remains unpredictable for virtually all Chiefs' pass-catchers not named Travis Kelce.

David Njoku injury update, Week 14 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Njoku (knee) once again practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday, according to beat writer Scot Petrak.

Njoku (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, according to beat writer Scott Petrak. He did not play in last week's game against the Texans after suffering the leg injury in Week 12 against the Buccaneers.

Njoku returning to practice is a good sign for his availability on Sunday afternoon after he did not practice last week. The last time we saw him on the field, he had five receptions (seven targets) for 29 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers. If Njoku is healthy enough to play on Sunday, he has a neutral matchup against a Bengals' defense that's been middle-of-the-road against TEs all season. However, that should not deter owners from starting Njoku, who has played like a TE1 when healthy this season.
