The Roosters welcome Melbourne to Allianz Stadium on Thursday night to kick off round 7 of the NRL season.

A confidence-boosting win over the Knights should make the home side feel slightly better about their start to the season, squaring their ledger at three wins and three losses.

The second-placed Storm scraped by a gallant Bulldogs side last week and could come out with a point to prove after the scrappy performance.

Roosters vs Storm tips and prediction

To the surprise of no one who has watched Craig Bellamy's sides over the years, the Storm once again look like contenders in 2024.

Their only loss so far has come by two points and they sit second on the ladder.

Down on troops, the Roosters have yet to find consistency this season, although their fighting win over Newcastle last week will give them a boost.

Melbourne got the job done three times over the Roosters last season and we expect this one to go the way of the visitors as well.

Our prediction: Storm by 8 points

Roosters vs Storm betting odds

Per bookmaker TAB, this game could go either way, with both teams priced at $1.90 to take the two points.
